Tom Hardy is an English character actor best known for his roles as Max Rockatansky in Mad Max: Fury Road, Eames in Inception and Bane in The Dark Knight Rises, and Venom in Venom. A versatile actor, he also played the role of both of the Kray twins in the film Legend.
Peaky Blinders is a crime drama centred on a family of mixed Irish Traveller and Romani origins based in Birmingham, England, starting in 1919, several months after the end of the First World War. It centres on the Peaky Blinders street gang and their ambitious, cunning crime boss Tommy Shelby.
Alfie Solomons is a fictional character in the British period crime drama television series Peaky Blinders, created by Steven Knight and portrayed by Tom Hardy. Based on a London gangster born in the late 1890s, he is the leader of a Jewish gang based in Camden Town and was introduced in Series 2.
Hardy also joined the cast of the BBC crime drama Peaky Blinders in its second series. He portrays Alfie Solomons (who is based on a real-life East End Jewish gangster named Alfred Solomon), the head of a Jewish gang based in Camden Town , north London and runner of a distillery which disguises itself as a bakery.
