Informed Delivery is a free service from USPS that shows you preview images of incoming mail, plus status updates about your incoming and outbound packages. Get notifications in a morning Daily Digest email, or at any time from the dashboard using your smartphone, computer, or USPS Mobile app.
If the package hasn't been delivered within 24 hours of this status, use your tracking number and submit a service request to your local Post Office™.
Check the Current Status. Before you begin your search, if your package or mail has tracking, check USPS Tracking ® to see its current status. Go to Tracking. Informed Delivery® Users. Informed Delivery provides a digital preview of your incoming mail.
If you are a current Informed Delivery subscriber, you can find the tracking number of expected items in your dashboard. If you are not a current Informed Delivery subscriber, you can sign up for it. For any item with USPS Tracking®, recipients are able to view the delivery status of items in Informed Delivery notifications.
