Jul 24, 2022 · There are two classes of diagnostic tests: Molecular tests (PCR, nucleic acid amplification tests, NAATs, and other molecular amplification tests) detect the genetic material of the virus. These tests are highly accurate and can detect COVID-19 even if you don’t have symptoms.
In addition to this new COVID-19 testing program, Walgreens provides free drive-thru COVID-19 testing for everyone ages 3 and older at more than 7,000 locations nationwide and over the counter (OTC) test options for purchase online and in stores.

Visit walgreens.com/covid19testing to request a Labcorp COVID-19 at-home kit at no cost for individuals 2 years of age and older. Individuals scheduling a testing appointment using the Walgreens online scheduler will see a pop-up with the option to request a COVID-19 at-home collection kit.
