Santa Fe Springs, California, is the town where the Rangers begin the second leg of their adventure. They are tasked with setting up a new Ranger base, and beginning an investigation of God's Army.
After meeting with some difficulties and ultimately crash landing on the outskirts of town, the Rangers arrive in Santa Fe Springs, where they're to join up with another Ranger team and start setting up a base. Unfortunately, the Ranger team they were to meet with nearly all died just before the Rangers arrived. The Rangers meet with Lt. Woodson, and begin to set up their center of operations in the town.
Your first orders are to secure the permeter of the area. Head north of the building Lt. Woodson is in, and take the wooden planks from the stack at the center of the yard. Use them to patch up the walls. Kill all the Nuke Dogs inside the walls while you're at it.
While you repair the wall, Lt. Woodson plays local radio broadcast so you can hear the threats of what you're up against, each of which offering a small seed to follow up on. Once you finish repairing the wall, Lt. Woodson calls you back to the central building to speak with Cpt. Carlson before he passes.
Once you've finished speaking with him, Lt. Woodson sets you off to complete the orders you were given.
Once you leave Santa Fe Springs to help out the farmer's wife in Cerrintos, Lt. Woodson calls you back and introduces you to Pistol Pete and his caravan. Pistol Pete offers to guide you to Seal Beach and will join your party.
Once you return from Cerrintos, you begin seeking your primary objectives. You need to collect 7 bags of Cat Litter and return them to Lt. Woodson. The bags can be found throughout the other locations in the California Wasteland. Once you've collected all 7 bags, Lt. Woodson makes the Heavy Radiation Suits, which will allow you to bypass level 5 radiation. Now you can head south, towards Seal Beach.
•Just before Captain Carlson succumbs to his wounds, he passes his orders on to the Rangers:
1.Investigate the crash of Team Foxtrot
2.Upgrade the rad suits to explore the surrounding area
3.Set up a Repeater Unit on the radio tower in Griffith to reestablish contact with the Ranger Citadel
4.Find a way to get to Seal Beach
5.Spread the good name of the Desert Rangers
May 11, 2016 · California is the second one (and last) map of the game. The new HQ here is Santa Fe Springs, much more poor than Guardians' Citadel. Your main task here is to install repeaters on radio towers in Angelorium, Rodia and Griffith.
