To access the list of Keyboard shortcuts, go to your profile picture , and select Keyboard Shortcuts . You can also enter SHIFT+? on your keyboard. When you mouse over certain player buttons, you’ll see the relevant keyboard shortcut. For example, when you mouse over the full screen icon, you'll see 'Full screen (f),' indicating you can enter f to open full screen.

Aug 10, 2022 · You can simply press the F5 button on the keyboard or click the refresh icon near the address bar. After that, try again switching the video to the full-screen mode. For Mac users, you need to hover the cursor to the address bar, and the refresh icon will be visible. Click on it.

Whenever I bring a video to fullscreen on YouTube (on Chrome or Safari), the video will go to fullscreen but the dock and menu bar remain visible, covering the top and bottom parts of the video. They used to be hidden when I went to fullscreen, so I don't know what happened. How do I fix this?
Apr 23, 2018 · Visit https://youtube.com/html5 and opt-in to the experiment. After that most (but not all) youtube videos will use the native <video> tag instead of Flash, with a slightly different UI. The fullscreen control is reachable in this UI by pressing (quite a lot) Tab / Shift + Tab.
