The clue was "to the south west of an uncharted isle" which turned out to be the Reaper's Hideout WHICH ISN'T FUCKING UNCHARTED ANYMORE. Even worse, the lead up had you going toward the Sea Dog Tavern, which actually IS uncharted.
The Pirate Lord's Maiden Voyage journals are hidden on Old Sailor's Isle, accessible during the Maiden Voyage. Reading all 10 of these journals will unlock the A Storied Crossing Commendation. Outside of the door on the shipwreck on the Northwestern point of the Island.
