Jul 31, 2015 · Romeo, in the tomb, takes poison, dying as he kisses Juliet. As Friar Lawrence enters the tomb, Juliet awakes to find Romeo lying dead. Frightened by a noise, the Friar flees the tomb. Juliet kills herself with Romeo’s dagger. Alerted by Paris’s page, the watch arrives and finds the bodies.
Laurence ventures into the crypt alone and discovers the bodies of Romeo and Paris, and he laments their tragic deaths. Juliet awakens and greets Friar Laurence, asking for Romeo's whereabouts. A noise outside the tomb prompts Friar Laurence to urge Juliet to leave with him immediately.
Friar Laurence urges Juliet to leave with him, but she won’t, wanting to die alongside Romeo. Friar Laurence leaves, then Juliet stabs herself and dies. Hearing what has happened, both families realise the damage their feud has caused, and agree to be friends from now on.
