Jan 9, 2012 · Kirk: Water slide decals differ in the method by which they are produced. All must be approached with a little caution. Many of the new Ink-jet and even Alps printed decals must be clear coated before they are cut from the decal sheet.
We recommend using Rustoleum 2X Clear to seal waterslides and have tested several other sealants on our blog post; The Best Clear Sealants To Use On Waterslide Decal Paper. Any clear acrylic spray should work to seal decals but setting times vary so follow the manufacturer's instructions.
