    • Gabby Hartnett, 1922-1941. Hartnett is one of four catchers in baseball history to hit 200 home runs and have a career batting average of .295 or better.
    • Bill Dickey, 1928-1943, 1946. An 11-time All-Star and eight-time World Series champion, Dickey anchored the some of the great Yankee teams ever. “Bill Dickey is the best (catcher) I ever saw… He was as good as anyone behind the plate, and better with the bat.
