The Grand Island native played in 45 games over two years with the Huskers, making one start. This season in particular, Brown tallied 29 points and six assists through 19 appearances off the bench.
Grand Island Northwest Senior Whitney Brown decided over the weekend she will walk-on for the Nebraska women's basketball team in 2020. The decision comes after Brown led the Vikings to the 2019 Class B State Championship.
