Brockworth Court was inhabited by John Guise, the new Lord of the Manor, in 1540. The Tithe Barn was almost completely destroyed by fire in 1996 and rebuilt using traditional materials and methods. The restoration work was granted an award by the CPRE. The court is a Grade II* listed building.

Jul 14, 2013 · Today we took some visiting relatives to Brockworth Court, a Grade 2* Listed Building on the outskirts of Gloucester and close to Cheltenham which opens for the National Gardens Scheme. Dating back to 1540 and originally built for Richard Hart, the last Prior of Llanthony Secunda Priory.

Brockworth Court, now Prior’s Court, near Gloucester, was built for Richard Hart, the last prior of Llanthony Secunda Augustine Priory, during the reign of Henry VIII, on land belonging to the priory. The barn dates from the same period. The Tithe Barn was almost completely destroyed by fire in 2006.
