Tano was discovered on her homeworld of Shili by Jedi Master Plo Koon, who brought her to the Jedi Temple on Coruscant to receive Jedi training.

Ahsoka Tano was born on the planet Shili to Pav-ti and Nak-il Tano. Early in her life, Ahsoka was taken on a hunting trip by her mother, who taught her about life and death.
