I did not know anything about this movie, so it was a pleasant surprise for me. It is a coming of age story, with some similarities to "Ginger Snaps", but it has a fairy-tale quality that sets it apart. It's not a perfect movie, but it's clever and original and deserves more love, in my opinion.
