It’s a funny love story. Don’t put too much more into it. I think this movie is perfectly fine for a more mature 12 year old, certainly 14 yo. There is a strip club scene, but all the dancers are clothed (underwear) and not much focus on the dancers. The bigger problem may be the references to drugs, mainly cocaine.
