Jul 28, 2017 · Pittsburgh NAACP President Constance Parker, an outspoken civil rights leader and a “fierce fighter for the underdog,” her colleagues said, died Thursday. Parker, 74, of Penn Hills suffered a series of strokes and had been ill for several years, but she didn't stop working to advance human rights, friends said.
