Stanley Myers - Portrait with sheet music. Beautiful composition by Stanley Myers, British film composer, same who wrote the guitar piece "Cavatina" as the theme for Michael Cimino's 1978 film "The Deer Hunter", later popularized (little bit different version) by renowned classical guitarist and composer John Williams.
It is shorter that the original Myers version for a very simple reason: The piece was made longer than it needed to be to satisfy recording labels' requirements, and they did not do the piece any favor because it becomes banale after so much.
