The Blood Orange is a craftable Hardmode permanent power-up item that increases the player's maximum life, as an extension to Life Fruits. There are 3 other items that function identically to this: the Miracle Fruit, the Elderberry, and the Dragonfruit.
The Blood Orange is a food item which grants the Well Fed buff. This lasts for 5 minutes, but can be canceled at any time by right-clicking the icon (), by selecting the icon using Cycle Next/Previous Buff and then pressing Remove Buff (), or by double-tapping the buff icon ().

You have to make other fruits after blood orange, there's elderberry, dragon fruit and miracle fruit. Your next fruit is Miracle fruit, the other two are post Moon Lord. Cap is also 600 but there's armors and the life force potion that can increase it even further.
