The venue is intimate, good acoustics, and the waitress and bartender are amazing (service the entire club with efficiency, accuracy, and charm). Music was great and we were able to walk back to our hotel in the Chicago Loop. Don't miss this opportunity for Chicago blues!
Great Blues bar in Chicago; Sheryl Youngblood and the band bring the house down! We got there before doors opened so we were able to get some seats in front. The venue is small and gets filled up quickly, so anticipate to stand if you're not coming early (although you'll mostly be out of your seats boogieing!).

This long narrow Blues club in Chicago, was packed full of blues loving fans. The fantastic Mike Wheeler band with special guest Demetria Taylor, provided excellent music both originals and many great blues classics. We stood right in front of the stage and enjoyed a fantastic night of great music.

The dimly lit, grungy charm of the place is exactly what you want for a blues bar. The ONLY reason I give this 4/5 stars is the lack of food, dinner or appetizers would have made it perfect (especially for a long show). Get there early to find seats, but grab dinner before you go. Read more.
