Great place for hiking with your dogs, biking the trails, and boating. Two boat launches (we use the one on Rt. 183 to put our Kayaks in the water. Plenty of trail network for hiking and biking. While the lake is used heavily it never feels crowded because of its size.
Blue Marsh Lake has become an outdoor recreation hot spot, offering 36 miles of trails with 1,147 acres of water for boating and fishing, and 5000 acres of land containing hiking trails, picnic areas, and a beach and boat launches.

Blue Marsh Lake is a stunning lake located just North of Reading, PA. The views of the surrounding area, farmland, and hills are beautiful, any time of the year. There's lots to do here, including, fishing, hunting, hiking, swimming, water skiing, picnicking, and just good old fashioned, relaxing.
