Jul 13, 2014 · The Steel Guitar Forum. With great sadness I must report that my dear friend and Masonic Brother, Bobby Bowman, finally is at rest from his battle with leukemia. He passed away at 7:06 this morning, July 13 2014.
I had an opportunity to visit with Bobby Bowman this year in St. Louis about making an Emmons Le Grande play better. Mine didn't play bad but if it could be made better, why not? To make a long story short. I sent my guitar to Mr. Bowman. He put two new knee levers on and worked his magic.

Aug 15, 2004 · Bobby Bowman is one of the greatest people you'll ever meet. He is one of the MAIN reasons that I go to the Tx. show every year! (his wife,Toni,ain't too bad a gal either.)
