- Trout fishing has been very good at Hyatt, Howard Prairie and Fish Lake. Anglers are still catching bright Chinook in the middle and upper Rogue. Early season bass anglers have been catching some big fish in the mainstem Umpqua. There also are reports of some striped bass being caught. Anglers report catching good size shad on the Coquille.
