Musician. Rhythm guitarist best known as a former member of the band, the Bay City Rollers. He joined the Rollers in early 1976 at age 17 as a replacement for founding member, Alan Longmuir. He provided the lead vocals for the title track of the song Dedication from the Rollers' fourth studio album.

Dave Mitchell was a Palo Alto resident, attorney, environmental advocate and passionate community volunteer. When Dave passed away in December 2018, PACF worked with the Mitchell family to design an Impact Grant that would honor his work on behalf of the organization and inspire others to give back to the community.
