He also is involved in numerous business and civic organizations and is a member of the Global Strategic Advisory Council for Purdue’s School of Management.
DeVos earned a degree from Purdue University, and played quarterback there. [5] DeVos started at Amway early in his working career, and took on various responsibilities and roles before being named president in 2002.

The 1984 Purdue Boilermakers football team represented Purdue University during the 1984 Big Ten Conference football season. Led by third-year head coach Leon Burtnett, the Boilermakers compiled an overall record of 7–5 with a mark of 6–3 in conference play, tying for second place in the Big Ten.
