Erich Pommer. Erich Pommer (* 20. Juli 1889 in Hildesheim; † 8. Mai 1966 in Los Angeles) war ein deutscher Filmproduzent, der zeitweise zu den mächtigsten Figuren der deutschen Filmindustrie zählte. Als Produzent von Filmen wie Das Cabinet des Dr. Caligari, Der letzte Mann, Metropolis und Der blaue Engel schrieb er Filmgeschichte.
