    At our test track, the Ranger Raptor hit 60 mph in 5.3 secondsand eclipsed the quarter-mile in 14.1 seconds at 97 mph. The hi-po Ranger's closest rival, the Chevrolet Colorado ZR2, needed 6.8 seconds to hit 60 mph and needed 15.2 seconds to complete the quarter-mile.

    Ford claims a maximum towing capacity of 5510 pounds, which is lower than the standard 2024 Ranger's 7500-pound capacity. The Raptor has a payload capacity of 1411 pounds, which is also lower than the standard truck.
