The Frye Art Museum is a modern and contemporary art museum in the First Hill neighborhood of Seattle, Washington. It was founded in 1952 to house the collection of Charles and Emma Frye and has since grown to include rotating temporary exhibitions of emerging and contemporary artists.

A small art museum located in the center of Seattle. The Frye Art Museum is located at 704 Terry St., about a 15 minute walk from the Seattle Convention Center at 6th and Pike St. It is also located just off of the James and Madison Street exits from I-5.
The Frye Art Museum Founding Collection celebrates primarily late-nineteenth and early-twentieth-century German art. In addition, the Museum owns an extensive collection of artworks purchased or gifted to the Museum since its opening in 1952.
