Henry Paul (born August 25, 1949) is an American musician, singer, and songwriter who was an original recording member of the Southern rock band Outlaws. Paul left to form the Henry Paul Band but then returned to the Outlaws. He also is a founding member of the country band Blackhawk.
Known as ‘The Florida Guitar Army’, the band delivered monster hits like ‘There Goes Another Love Song’, ‘Knoxville Girl’ and ‘Green Grass And High Tides’, toured with The Allman Brothers, Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Who and The Rolling Stones, and were famed for their explosive live performances.
Aug 27, 2020 · Henry Paul joined the Outlaws in 1971 when they were reborn from an earlier incarnation. The band had been formed by Hughie Thomasson and various others including drummer David Dix in Florida four years earlier with the name the Four Letter Words.
