I watched Climax a few times because I really love how he did it. Especially the way the kid yelling in the room he's locked in is always legible in the background when various characters pass by it, and eventually stops when the kid dies is just such a good detail.
I don't know if we can call it a conventional horror movie but Climax definitely makes you feel terrified and it develops an anxiety feeling that I have only felt with this film. What is good about it and what makes it feel so natural is that in the movie Gaspar used dancers instead of actors.
