Designed by architect Jack Hawkins, who worked closely with his architect father Rob Hawkins and his mother Sally, a town planner and a garden enthusiast, the low-slung rammed earth home sits poetically in its undulating landscape of approximately 40 hectares.
Australia’s wild places inspire us; the bush, coastline and vast interior. Our designs respond to local ecosystems, topography, climate and culture. Rural and suburban settings are opportunities to connect to landscape.
Very excited to learn that Mystery Bay House has been shortlisted in the 2021 NSW AIA Architecture Awards, in two categories: Houses (New) & Colorbond Award for Steel Architecture. We’re honoured to be included alongside some amazing architectural practices.
