Jun 19, 2018 · AMARILLO, Texas (KVII) — James Allen has resigned his seat on the Amarillo Independent School District Board of Trustees after 19 years. According to Board President Jim Austin, Allen turned in his letter of resignation on June 15. The Amarillo ISD website says that Allen's term would not have expired until 2021.
