Pratt Bar Association, which takes its moniker from a homegrown success story. Pratt, who passed away on 21 March 1989, holds the distinction of being Kalamazoo County’s first black judge.
Hon. Charles M. Pratt (Ret.) was a judge for the 18th Judicial District Court of Colorado. He was appointed to the bench in 2005. Pratt retired in 2019 and became an arbitrator for Judicial Arbiter Group, Inc. The 18th Judicial District includes Arapahoe, Douglas, Elbert, and Lincoln Counties.
