Feb 28, 2024 · Fairs. The fair is a culmination of project work done by 4-H members throughout the year. This capstone event celebrates the work and accomplishments of 4-H'ers and highlights the learning they have done through their exhibits and projects.
Competitive Exhibit Static - Check each departments rules for release schedule. Grand Drive Entry Deadline is July 15 (midnight) - animals are released when the exhibitor is done showing - be mindful of others showing and traffic flow.

The Kansas State Fair is held annually at the State Fairgrounds in Hutchinson, KS during the month of September. 4-H members are encouraged to enter their projects for state fair judging. Entry must be confirmed with your extension office by mid August.
