Lake Arthur at Moraine State Park is a popular place because the lake spans over 3,000 acres with 42 miles of shoreline and features spectacular views of the park. The water also stays fairly calm, as only 20hp motors are permitted for other boaters.

But the main feature of Moraine is the lake, Arthur. A beautiful lake that is fun to kayak, sail, or power boat on to be sure, but be very careful about touching the water. I got a BAD case of swimmers itch (a parasitic infection of the skin) from touching the lake water only just long enough to launch my kayak from one of the boat docks.
