But after two years of following Jesus they were supporting about 70 people in seven houses—and an official ministry was born anyway. They gave it the name Last Days Ministries because they saw the daily headlines start to line up with Biblical prophecy.
Keith began to appear on many television and radio programs. He talked about his walk with God and played a song or two. But his heart was to please the Lord. His childhood dream of becoming a super star had been cleansed from his heart years before with something better – being a servant of God.
Some were referred to the Greens by other ministries and shelters, but most just crossed their path during their normal life at home and on the road. In 1977, the Greens' personal outreach became a nonprofit ministry they called Last Days Ministries. Green also became an ordained minister, seeing his music as a tool of his ministry.
There are ministries all over the world where "penniless" people are being saved and transformed. They are broken people who have promise and qualities, but just need someone to bring them God's light during the times when their lives seem so completely hopeless.

Sometimes it’s easier to believe God will cleanse, heal, and restore the most degenerate sinner, than it is to believe Him to do the same thing for a repentant brother or sister.

Apr 11, 2023 · 1977: With the proceeds earned from record sales, Keith and Melody founded Last Days Ministries (LDM) in 1977 to continue their evangelistic efforts at home and in the community. Keith recorded four more hit albums with Sparrow Records.
