Jul 6, 2014 · At the time of the seizure a charge of illegal commercial dumping was also lodged against the Spindletop owner Leah Denise Purcell, 48, who resided at the rescue. She was indicted on that charge on April 24, 2014. Saturday night DPS was able to arrest Purcell and place her in the Montgomery County Jail on a $1500.00 bond.
