Mar 6, 2011 · Lewis Morris Park is a total of 1154 acres, which includes excellent mountain bike trails, a lake recreation area, Parcourse Exercise Circuit, a group camping area and six distinct picnic areas. The Playground was donated by local Saturn dealerships and features newer equipment. It is clean, nicely mulched, and well shaded.
This 2,195-acre county park, which borders on the Jockey Hollow area of the Morristown National Historical Park on the northeast, is named for New Jersey's first governor. It is the oldest of Morris County parks, and offers hiking, camping, picnicking, lake swimming, ballfields, sledding, and ski touring.
