The "Lost Weekend" (also "The Lost Weekend Fan Party") is a Lost fan event organized by the official discussion forum The Fuselage which is also a charity auction event benefiting the Children's Defense Fund. The event has been held in 2007 and 2009, and one planned for 2010.

Jan 8, 2024 · An Alaska Airlines jetliner blew out a portion of its fuselage seven minutes after takeoff 3 miles (4.8 kilometers) above Oregon Friday night, forcing the pilots to make an emergency landing. None of the 171 passengers or six crew were seriously injured but the rapid loss of cabin pressure caused oxygen masks to drop from the ceiling.
