Jun 12, 2019 · Just to confirm, while Mike Lucas had some health issues last year, he is back to making bore guides. I just ordered two via email today. That is good news for those of us who prefer his bore guides.

I've tried contacting him at lucasmjb@windstream.net and at lucas10@windstream.net but both addresses appear to have been shut down as I receive error messsages in reply to my emails.

Jun 26, 2017 · Made and sold by Mike Lucas, these bore guides are made out of Delrin polymer. But the one unique feature of the Lucas Bore Guide is that in comes with an alignment insert. This insert has a diameter that the purchaser will specify to match the diameter of the cleaning rod that will be used.

Nice material custom fit. What more can I ask for. Now I have two new Dewey cleaning rods coming for them. Man it's nice having quality equipment.
