Modern Times’ “fermentorium” now churns out four core brews, four seasonals and a never-ending line of here-and-gone batches focusing on wild Brettanomyces yeast. The brewery (like all of its beers) is named after a 19th- century utopian community in Long Island.

Modern Times is named after a beautifully crazy utopian community founded in 1850 (see “Modern Times was..” for the full explanation), and (almost) all of our beers are named after real utopian experiments or mythological utopias.
