This easy to learn activity and sport builds confidence and focus in many dogs, and provides a safe way to keep dogs fit and healthy through mental and physical exercise.
K9 Nose Work Classes. Yas Bakshian is a Certified Nose Work Instructor (CNWI) with the NACSW (National Association of Canine Scent Work) and she teaches nose work in two different locations in the Twin Cities. She competes with both her Portuguese Water Dog and her Border Collie.
Take a step into their world, as you learn to view it from the perspective of your dog’s nose! We offer 6-week classes from Intro level Nose work to Continuing Nose Work, all taught by NACSW Certified Nose Work Instructors (CNWI).
In K9 Nose Work®, dogs learn how to search for a specific odor or odors and find the source. Dogs start by searching for their favorite food or toy reward hidden in a variety of environments, increasing the challenges and adding new search skills as the dog progresses.

The activity and sport of nose work is designed to develop your dog’s natural scenting abilities by using their desire to hunt and their love of toys, food and exercise. For The Love of Dogs offers Official K9 Nose Work (TM) Foundation and Continuing Nose Work classes, Skill Building classes and AKC Scent Work classes.
