We enjoyed spending a day seeing some of the history of this area of southern Utah. Parowan claims to be the jumping off point for many settlements in southern Utah and beyond.
Native American Cultural History just off I-15... These amazing petroglyphs are probably the most accessible of any petroglyphs I have seen. The Parowan Gap Petroglyphs are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. They are located on either side of the road.
