Apr 20, 2020 · The artist and wildlife photographer Peter Beard has has died at age 82. He was found dead on Sunday in the woods near his home in Long Island after an extensive, 19-day search effort. The artist suffered from dementia, and had disappeared from his home last month. The cause of his death is not yet known.
