Mar 25, 2020 · Not at all underrated. Until the perfect 1995 dramatisation, it was considered the best adaptation ever, universally acclaimed. Wonderful acting, exquisite sets and costumes--and best of all, the script changed as little as possible of Jane Austen's original witty conversations. Well worth the time to watch it.
