Nov 14, 2023 · We actually don’t have to go any further than a short walk in our very own Reinhardt Redwood Regional Park. The ladybugs congregate on the plants (and fence posts!) along the stream trail, roughly between the intersections with the Prince and Eucalyptus trails. There are two ways to get there.

Start your hike at Skyline Gate Staging Area. Take the Stream Trail and start watching for the ladybugs right around the Eucalyptus Trail and onward to Prince Trail. There they cluster in clumps and bunches on leaves, branches, fence posts and rock crevices.
