Situated along the summit ridge of Howell Mountain in Northeast Napa Valley at 2300’ of elevation, Robert Craig Winery continues its founding mission to produce small-lot, site-expressive wines from remote, high elevation vineyards.
Starting in 2013, Robert Craig Winery began to transition to produce the majority of their wines to estate owned vineyard sources, although they still purchase fruit from several growers. They work with Napa Valley based hillside vineyards generally 1,600 feet or higher.
Founded in 1992, Robert Craig Winery is situated along the summit ridge of Howell Mountain at 2,300 feet of elevation. We specialize in small-lot, mountain grown cabernets that feature their shy bearing growing sites in the finished wines.
