Rupert Leon Julia Lockwood (born Margaret Julia Leon ; 23 August 1941 – 24 March 2019) was a British actress. Daughter of Margaret Lockwood , her career began as a child actress at the age of 4 and spanned 30 years in film, television and the theatre.
Lockwood married Rupert Leon whom she had met in her teens and secretly married in 1937 when she turned 21; they divorced in 1950. [54] [55] She lived her final years in seclusion in Kingston upon Thames, dying on 15 July 1990 at age 73 at the Cromwell Hospital [1] [56] from cirrhosis of the liver, [57] though she was not a drinker.
