San Gregorio State Beach is a stunning beach in a valley about 10 miles south of Half Moon Bay and a short drive from Silicon Valley in the South Bay Area. It has a big parking lot and a popular picnic area on the bluff above the beach.

This one's probably the best among the easily accessible ones. Less crowded than Pacifica or the main beach at Half moon bay, wide spacious & sandy, sufficient parking space. Careful wading deep into water as there are a couple of rip tides. On summer weekends, there's usually a life-guard, so best to check.
