Although 100 Años Reposado Tequila is a decent choice for cocktails, I think there are definitely better tequilas out there in this same price range. Even Sauza itself has smoother tequilas at a cheaper price. That said, I would still recommend this bottle in situations where your options are limited.

Intended as competitors to Cuervo Tradicional and Espolon, both expressions can be found for less than $20 a bottle. Both are 80 proof. Note that a non-100% agave version of 100 Anos is said to be available as well.

So tonight, it's Sauza 100 Anos Reposado Tequila. For the price point ($22!) it's hard to beat, delicious: smooth, butterscotch flavors and honeycomb throughout with a hint of spice and white pepper on the finish. Will buy again!
