- Reviews of the airline Spanair are generally not very favourable. Staff and service are notorious variable, and on some of the once a day routes technical delays can rack up for many hours. It is notoriously oddball, offering things like an economy class fare (Y class) which it will upgrade at the gate, unless there are too many customers.

The fare with Spanair is about 100 euro round trip. I would leave Malaga at 9:00 am to arrive back in Madrid at 10:00. My flight for Boston is at 1:40. This seems doable.

I have done a search on the forum for any reviews on Spanair but nothing doing apart from an unhappy Nozzie being asked to move seats & the crash at Madrid in 2008 (bit of a worry as that's where I am looking at flying to). Has anyone got a recent experience of them that they can share, warts n' all ? Thanks in anticipation. Itik
