The ending of “Spell” is a powerful and unsettling one, leaving audiences with a mix of emotions. On one hand, there is a sense of relief that Marquis’s family has survived and escaped from the clutches of the community. However, there is also a feeling of sadness and loss, as Marquis sacrifices himself to save his loved ones.
